During the ICPS-28 a special PLENARY session will be devoted to late news. Abstracts reporting important new results and developments can be submitted until June 18, 2006 to the web based system. The International Program Committee will select about 10 contributions for oral presentations. The late news session is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. and will a PLENARY one. For this reason, we kindly ask for highest quality contributions only.
Hints for all authors :
Due to the large number of expected abstracts, submissions are only accepted via the ICPS28 online submission system. Any abstracts submitted via email or fax are not accepted. In the abstract submission system, the abstracts have to be entered as plain text. Formulas can be entered in LATEX code. Copy and paste from other text editors is possible. As figures are not allowed in the abstract, we encourage all authors to include references of their relevant publications into the abstract. For more details, please use "Help" in the abstract submission system.
Students or young scientists who are the first author on a paper presented at the conference and have obtained their PhD no more than one year before the date of submission of their abstract are eligible for one of the IUPAP Young Author Best Paper Awards. Those wishing to be considered for an award should indicate their eligibility when submitting their abstract. They should also arrange for their supervisor or head of department to send a one-page letter (by e-mail to program@icps2006.at) confirming their eligibility and describing the specific contribution of the candidate to the work described in the abstract. The award recipients will be selected by the Program Committee and will receive a prize and an Award Certificate to be presented at the closing session of the conference.
